Keynote Title: How the shift to low-carbon economy is drastically transforming?
Mr. Carnevale is an award-winning serial entrepreneur. Currently, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgepoint Group Ltd., a boutique consulting, advisory and merchant banking firm focused on business development strategies and execution of sustainability, energy and infrastructure solutions.
In addition, Mr. Carnevale is a Managing Partner of Impact Investment Partners Inc., a responsible investment platform fighting climate change. Through this role, he is a Principal of energyX Solutions Inc., an investee and an MIT award-winning technology company of energy management solutions.
Mr. Carnevale is the Curator of a daily newsletter on sustainability and green investing- The Sustainability Daily- and a Blogger on “business insights into climate change” at theGreenStreet.ca.
Mr. Carnevale is a Board Member of the Energy Council of Canada, and an active member of the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance.
Recently, Mr. Carnevale served as COO/SVP of a publicly-traded company, SustainCo Inc., a diversified investment company focused on impact investing in sustainability. He helped turn around a mechanical contracting/building controls company and a leading thermal design build company.
Previously, he served as a member of the Council for Clean & Reliable Electricity, the Board of Directors of the Ontario Energy Association, and the Board of Directors of Rethink Sustainability Initiatives (RSI).
Mr. Carnevale is a trusted advisor to public sector leaders, and continues to develop successful public private partnerships. Mr. Carnevale has guest lectured at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and University of Toronto on public private partnerships and ethics. He has been published in infrastructure, energy and municipal
publications, some of which have included his perspective on the virtues of public private partnerships and industry trends.
Mr. Carnevale graduated from York University with a BA degree in Political Science. He, his wife and two boys reside in Toronto, Canada.
